Acne problem usually affects teenagers to some extent. However, few skin specialists even think that it is not restricted to any age group; people in their 20s – even into their 40s – can get acne. People tend to confuse acne with various skin diseases.

Facial hair removal for women – Part 1

May 19th, 2010

Facial Hair. If Hollywood wanted to make the next horror flick a success, it would be about the facial hair that wouldn’t go away. I don’t know about anyone else, but nothing grosses me out more than seeing a woman with sideburns. I figure if I wanted to see that, I’d go the circus and see the bearded lady. Now don’t get me wrong I do not view myself as high and mighty, I get facial hair just like the next woman, but I now know the secret to avoid that dilemma.

How did I find out the answer to the question you ask? By trial and error. I had to try all the wrong ways, before I found the right way. I will share with you now, so you can skip steps one through four and start the process correctly and immediately. Below are the steps you should AVOID:

STEP 1 Do not shave. It might be quick, and painless, but you will regret it in a day or two, or when you start itching, whatever comes first. You are not a guy, it will grow back thicker and stronger, and you will get a five o’clock shadow.

STEP 2 Do not pluck. If you start this procedure you will never finish. If you have sensitive skin like me, you will get pimples. The only time you should be using tweezers is if you are pulling out the ones attached to moles.

STEP 3 Do not use facial cream removers. They take too long, stink, and do not get all the hairs off. Once again, if you have sensitive skin like me, you will turn extremely red where it was applied, and possibly break out from it.

STEP 4 Do not use those vibrating razor tools, for facial hair. just like in step one it is a razor, and it will grow back faster, thicker, and darker. The more you use it, the more you will NEED to use it.

By avoiding steps 1-4, go right to the solution. Like any job we should leave to the professionals, leave it to the professionals. Remember how you look when you cut your own bangs, and then wished you had just paid a couple of dollars for someone else to do it. Just go get a facial wax. If you are doing this for a special occasion, I suggest do it a day or two before the occasion so any redness or swelling is gone. One time I had my upper lip waxed an hour before an important family gathering, and it looked as if I had been drinking red kool-aid. By doing the waxing on a regular basis, it hurts less and less each time, and your hair doesn’t grow as fast. Gone are the days for me when I will try to tackle that problem alone.
